Steve Martin’s Beloved Classic Father of the Bride to Air on ABC Tonight

As legendary comedian and actor Steve Martin approaches his milestone 80th birthday on August 14, fans have the perfect opportunity to celebrate his legacy a little early. One of Martin’s most beloved and enduring films, Father of the Bride (1991), will air tonight—Sunday, July 27—at 8:35 p.m. ET on ABC.

A modern remake of the 1950 classic, Father of the Bride stars Martin as George Banks, a devoted father who faces the emotional rollercoaster of preparing for his 22-year-old daughter Annie’s (Kimberly Williams in her film debut) wedding.
